SLATE
Slate is a fashion + lifestyle shop born in Edgartown, MA on the island of Martha's Vineyard. Tucked away under a sunshine hued striped awning, our storefront offers a carefully curated assortment of established and emerging fashion designers, jewelry, home accessories & clean beauty products.
At Slate we put a big focus on giving back to our community through partnerships, events, conscious selection of brands and charitable giving.We believe that our differences make us stronger and our stores proudly support a diverse group of designers and makers. We do our best to support local artisans, emerging designers and brands that have an element of social responsibility. This is really important to us!
We love puppies, people, blue jeans, bare feet, fresh flowers, surfing, a good book and a gray day (every once in a while), year round white, lots of layers, and helping our customers & friends define and express their personal style.
Our island store is open seasonally from early April thru December. During the off-season we stay busy buying, traveling, reading, skiing and finding inspiration in all of these experiences for the coming season.

SHIPPING PROCESS
We ship all orders via USPS or UPS depending on destination. Web orders are typically processed within 36 hours of payment. If you request expedited shipping we will do our best to ship same day or the following day by 2pm. Please email shop@slatemv.com with any special requests.

RETURN POLICY
Everyone makes mistakes...We want you to love your Slate purchases but realize sometimes it just doesn't work out. We will gladly accept returns or exchanges that follow the terms below.
In Store: Full priced, unworn items may be returned within 24 hours for a full refund or 7 days for a store credit/exchange. Sale items, special orders and items without original tags and packaging are final sale.
Online Orders: Full priced, unworn items may be returned for a full refund or exchange when received back to Slate within 10 days of your orders original delivery date. We reserve the right to refuse returns sent back outside of this time frame. Sale items, swimwear, intimates and items without original tags or packaging are final sale.
